Launched in 2020, Anicut’s Seed Fund bridges the gap between angel investing and venture capital, focusing on sector-agnostic investments from seed to pre-Series A stages, with round sizes of up to $1 million. Our team and sponsor contribute a significant portion (>15%) of each investment in this structure, with the remaining syndicated to our investor network.

This is followed by Due Diligence, following which we request the founders to present to the Investment Committee, the entire Anicut team for the final go ahead, and then we’ll start with the capital raise process.

We’re happy to evaluate tech companies right from the MVP stage. However, for deep tech/AI companies, pre-MVP plays are open to evaluation.
For consumer companies, we don’t evaluate startups at an idea stage. If you’re seeing reasonable revenue and traction, reach out to us!

We are sector agnostic (barring real estate). Since the inception of the Seed Fund, we have invested in more than 10 different sectors.
